okay, i didn't know i could comment without signing up for this. We are excited that you are coming for a visit. It isn't plush like the last friend's house you were at. It will be kind of like camping with a roof over you head!
That's a great picture of the San Joaquin-- I love the dusk colors reflecting off the train there.
I've travelled a good part of the U.S. by rail, and your travel blog is sure making me feel railsick (that's in a good way!!)
